BioFlex Laser Therapy
What is Laser Therapy?
Laser therapy also referred to as low level light or laser therapy (LLLT) is the use of superluminous diodes that deliver red and infra-red light to damaged tissues. The light is absorbed by blood, muscle and bone cells which lead to a series of physical reactions restoring cells to normal structure and function. Unlike other modalities which address symptoms, laser therapy treats the source of the pain. The result of this therapeutic process includes a decrease in pain and increases the tissues natural healing processes.
Unlike high intense lasers, low level laser therapy does not cut or burn tissues. It is completely safe with no adverse side effects. The laser is highly effective in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, arthritis, sports injuries, wound healing and a wide range of dermatological conditions.
